87studios Sold to Charlie Livingston

Hey!

This is Charlie Livingston here, the new owner of 87studios.

A couple of weeks ago I was browsing RiseForums (which you should check out if you haven't already), when I stumbled upon a thread by Kris explaining that he was looking to sell 87studios. Having been a reader of the blog for sometime, and been on the lookout for a WordPress blog, I immediately let him know I was interested.

After about a week of back and forth over email and on Skype, discussing stats, the logistics of the deal, the price (!), etc, we were able to work something out, and a couple of days ago (on my birthday actually), the site was transferred to me (and the funds to him).

So, what does this mean going forward? There won't be a huge deal of change in the short-term. I already have new posts planned, as well as a giveaway lined up. Looking forward a bit further...well, we'll see. Right now I'm just focussed on making small changes here and there.

I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank Kris for all the work he has put into the blog over the years and for helping ensure a smooth transition. Hopefully he will continue to visit. 🙂

What do you see as the future for 87studios? Are there any areas you would like to see the blog concentrate on more?

Thanks for reading.

Charlie
